Water industry leaders convene in Boracay for PWWA’s 30th International Conference

Boracay will serve as the focal point for water industry innovation with the 30th International Conference & Exhibition of the Philippine Water Works Association (PWWA) scheduled for October 23-25, 2024, at the Paradise Garden Hotel Resorts & Convention Center. This year’s theme, “Climate Change & Sustainable Environment for Water Security and Sanitation,” highlights the urgent need for effective water management in light of ongoing environmental challenges.
Senator Lito M. Lapid is set to deliver the keynote address, emphasizing the event's national significance. PWWA President Atty. Vicente M. Joyas noted the importance of such gatherings in addressing climate change and enhancing sustainable water management practices. The three-day event will feature a diverse range of industry professionals and experts discussing critical topics, including water recycling and energy efficiency, with the potential to shape future water policies in the Philippines and beyond.
